Роль альфа-ефекту Бебкока–Лейтона в генерації полоїдального магнітного поля Сонця

Реферат

Зроблено огляд недавніх досліджень циклічності магнітної активності Сонця на основі αΩ-динамо моделі. Відзначено, що між спостереженими величинами полоїдального BP і тороїдального BT магнітних полів існує функціональна залежність. Це надає можливість по величині виміряного на початку циклу поля BP прогнозувати амплітуду і потужність циклу. Разом з тим, тривалий час не вдавалося виявити позитивних кореляцій між характеристиками сонячних плям (числом Вольфа або загальною площею плям) циклу і полярним магнітним потоком в кінці циклу. Як згодом виявилося, це було зумовлено тим, що α-ефекту Бебкока–Лейтона, який визначається кутами нахилу біполярних магнітних областей, турбулентною дифузією і меридіональною циркуляцією, і зумовлює регенерацію полоїдального поля, властиві випадкові флуктуації в часі і просторі. Ситуація, одначе, кардинально змінилася після того, як було запроваджено параметр магнітної потужності циклу, який представляє собою добуток площі всіх плям циклу на кути нахилу біполярних магнітних областей. В рамках αΩ-динамо це свідчить про те, що поверхневий α-ефект Бебкока–Лейтона зумовлює генерацію полоїдального магнітного поля в кінці поточного циклу, а асимільований його параметр є невід'ємною компонентою майбутніх сонячних прогнозів на основі моделей динамо. На підставі опрацювання даних, які охоплюють проміжок часу більше століття, недавніми дослідженнями встановлено, що інтервал пам'яті циклу обмежений тільки одним циклом.
