Abstract

The algorithm is presented for determination of rotation axis (pole) coordinates and sidereal rotation period of satellite, simulated by the diffuse cylinder precessing around vector of angular moment of impulse with constant nutation angle. The Lambert's law of light reflection is accepted. Simultaneously, dependence of light reflection coefficient versus phase angle also is determined. The model simulations confirm serviceability of this method. The algorithm is proposed for estimation of accuracy of pole coordinates founded by this method.
