Data mining of the land cover in Ukraine on the basis of Globeland 30 data

Abstract

Use of the remote sensing data for land cover classification was considered using the example of Globeland 30 product. The basic properties of the product and features of qualitative characteristics’ distribution were studied. A distribution of the main types of land use on administrative units was determined and a diversity in the land use was calculated on the basis of the Shannon index.
