The research of optically transparent ferrites application possibility for portable high-speed photopolarimeters creation

Abstract

This work is devoted to research of optically transparent ferrites, specifically of yttrium-gallium ferrite-garnet, domain structure influence to optical beam depolarization. It is shown, that domain structure of optically transparent ferrite, which is placed in the magnetic field, less then saturation field, considerably depolarizes passed light beam and, consequently, reduces method sensitivity.
